AI Insights page

AI Insights surface highlights, observations, and trends from your analytics data using artificial intelligence. Parse.ly gathers a breadth of data, once in the morning, once midday, and once in the late afternoon. From there, the data goes into a large-language model (LLM) for analysis and condenses into topical summaries.

AI Insights access and permissions

By default, only admins can see and use Parse.ly AI Insights after activation. All Parse.ly accounts are eligible for Parse.ly AI Insights upon request. By default, all accounts with Parse.ly Sage will also have AI Insights. Contact Parse.ly Support at support@parsely.com to request Parse.ly AI Insights for your site.

Where to find AI Insights

Insights are available in the Optimization > AI Insights dropdown. AI Insights split into four categories: Audience Engagement, Content Trends, Traffic Trends, and Publish Timing. Each category has one more more Highlights. Depending on the context, each Highlight features a specific chart or factoid and recommended action item.

Insight Categories

Audience Engagement

Audience Engagement focuses on engaged time, visitors, recirculation, social media metrics, conversions (if enabled), and similar metrics, in order to assess how your audience interacts with your content. Like all Insight categories, Audience Engagement synthesizes data from across metrics and time ranges to surface observations and make recommendations.

Content Trends

Content Trends dives into the subject matter of your content, evaluating the types of posts or pages that drive traffic using metadata like sections and smart tags. Using historical data, Content Trends makes recommendations about topics that appear to be promising drivers of future traffic.

Traffic Trends

Traffic Trends reviews referral sources to examine audience origins to advise how to foster further growth in high-performing channels.

Publication Timing

Publish Timing examines the hourly time ranges that your audience responds most to various types of content. Historical data informs projections and recommendations. Such intra-day patterns connect the types and habits of your readers with the content that resonates with them the most.
