Why do I see ‘Staff’ as an author?

‘Staff’ is shown as an author when no author is provided in the Parse.ly metadata tag. If you expected to see an author name instead of ‘Staff’, check the URL in the validator to ensure that we are extracting the appropriate data.

If the page does not validate (or if it shows the incorrect author), please check the creator field in the metadata tag. If it does validate, you can update the author name by recrawling the post. To do so, visit the API Settings page by clicking on the user icon in the top right of the dashboard, followed by API Settings, and look for the Recrawl Post section.
