Tips for using AI Assist
AI Assist helps you chat with your data easily. Its goal is to let you ask any question in simple language and get an answer, along with a link to the specific area in the dashboard where you can dig in further. While AI Assist can answer almost all your queries, the tips below should help you get the right answer more quickly.
- Use consistent terms. Try to use the same terminology as the dashboard. For example, in Parse.ly, Sections refer to groupings of content, while Tags are used to categorize and help readers find specific content.
- Specify time frames clearly. If you want data for a specific period, like yesterday, be sure to include that in your query. Note that once you’ve set a time frame in an earlier query, AI Assist will continue to use that time frame unless you specify a new one in subsequent queries.
- Refine and retry if needed. If the first answer isn’t perfect, feel free to update your prompt and try again. You might reword your query or adjust specific details to get a better response.
- Limitations with Google Search Console data. Queries related to Google Search Console data may not produce the best results at this time. We’re working to improve this in future updates.
- Understand current limitations. AI Assist does not currently support creating headline tests, goals, segments, reports, users, shared links, or alerts. In general, avoid asking it to create items within the dashboard.
- Scope of queries. AI Assist does not support queries at the network or site group levels. For now, it only supports queries at the individual site-level.
