Navigation bar

The navigation bar sits directly underneath the top bar of the Parse.ly Dashboard. This is the primary place to navigate the Dashboard and connect with most features.
Note
Depending on your contract, preferences, and user permissions, you may not see everything in your navigation bar that’s described here. Contact your Relationship Manager if you’d like more details.
Network admins can adjust which tabs are available in the navigation bar via the Preferences page of the account menu.
Overview tab
The Overview tab is the default view of the Dashboard and what’s seen after first logging in. Overview shows a snapshot of what the audience is paying attention to during a set timespan, allowing fast content decisions.

The Posts/Pages tab shows the best performing URLs based on the selected time frame, metrics, and filters.
The name of this tab in the navigation bar will be either “Posts” or “Pages,” depending on the default page type set in Preferences.
Authors tab
The Authors tab provides data on all content creators in one place, with easy access to author details pages to go deeper with data specific to individual creators. Author groups can also be viewed and created here.

The Channels tab provides details on the primary website channel by default, and additional distributed channels are available: Parse.ly partners with Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) and Apple News, and integrations can be set up for native mobiles.
Segments tab
The Segments tab provides an overview of audience segments that have been set up, allowing comparison, as well as access to further details. Segments can be set up based on geography, user status (e.g., subscriber, anonymous user), campaigns, and more, and they’re available at site and network levels.

Conversions allow you to measure how your content impacts key visitor actions. This data is then available on the Conversions tab, with easy access to deeper information about each conversion type that’s been set up.
Reports tab
The Reports tab displays reports that have recently run, as well as upcoming scheduled reports, and new reports can be created here.
Headline Testing
The Headline Testing tab takes the guesswork out of crafting the perfect headline. By displaying multiple headline variants to different site visitors and automatically identifying which performs best, this feature helps maximize engagement through higher click-through rates.

The question-mark icon on the right side of the navigation bar opens a help menu. Access links to Dashboard release notes and Parse.ly documentation, as well as contact Parse.ly Support and submit feedback.
