#  Saved Views

The saved views page contains a list of all the saved views that you and your team
have collected.

## Create a saved view

Each of the following pages of the Dashboard contain a Save View button: Content
pages, Traffic pages except for Journeys, and the Conversions page.

While on one of these pages, customize the look of the page by selecting desired
[filters](https://docs.parse.ly/user-handbook/dashboard/navigating/filter/). Once
you have the exact view that you want to save:

 1. Click on the Save View button.
 2. Give the view a descriptive name.
 3. Select the desired time range from the drop down menu.
 4. (Optional) Check the box to make this view available to teammates.
 5. Click the Create button to save the view.

## Finding saved views

You may access the saved views page two ways. The first way is through the user 
options menu.

 1. Click the user options icon in the top bar.
 2. Click saved views.

Saved views can be found in the top bar.

Alternatively, you can also access saved views via favorites.

 1. Click favorites in the navigation bar.
 2. Click saved views.
 3. Look through the short list of saved views or click on the “see all” option to 
    view all saved views.

Saved views can be found in the favorites menu of the navigation bar.

## Saved views filtering and sorting

The saved view page contains two filters and two sorting options.

### Type filter

The type filter enables you to view a limited selection of saved views created by
you or your team.

The type filter offers personal and shared selections.

If you wish to remove the filter, click on the ⓧ icon that is associated with the
filter name. Clicking on the filter name will give you the option to switch to a
different option.

After selecting a filter, an ⓧ icon will appear to permit removal.

### Time range filter

The time range filter will help you find saved views that span specific time periods.
For example, if you want to look at saved views that look at “Last week” performance,
you can use the time range filter.

### Sorting options

To help you locate saved views of interest, you may sort saved views by their creation
date or alphabetical order.

The sort-by dropdown menu offers options to sort by creation date or name.

## Saved view functions

### Navigation

To navigate to a view of interest, click the “go to view” button.

Clicking the “go to view” button will take you to the saved view.

### Deleting saved views

To delete a saved view, click the trash icon. Only admins and users with the permission
to “create team saved views” can delete team saved views.

Clicking the trash icon will delete the saved view.
