# Using Parse.ly Content Intelligence

[Parse.ly Content Intelligence](https://docs.parse.ly/tools-features/content-intelligence/)(
PCI) can be found in various places around the WordPress Admin dashboard.

**Note**

AI-powered features are available only to [WordPress VIP CMS](https://www.parse.ly/wordpress-vip-parsely/)
customers. Other PCI tools are available to all WordPress users of the Parse.ly
plugin ([wp-parsely](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-parsely/)). Contact your Relationship
Manager if interested in more details about PCI’s AI tools or WordPress VIP.

## Top posts widget in WP Admin dashboard

PCI allows you to see the top posts on your site right in the WordPress Admin dashboard.
Sort by page views or average time, and set a time period between the last 10 minutes
to the last 30 days.

## Stats and AI tools in Posts/Pages screens

### Parse.ly Stats column

When viewing the Posts or Pages screen in the WP Admin dashboard, PCI displays performance
metrics for the last 7 days. This data displays in the “Parse.ly Stats” column for
published posts/pages with at least 1 [page view](https://docs.parse.ly/measuring-reporting-performance/calculations/page-views/).

Similar to the top posts widget, users can add the Parse.ly Stats column to their
Posts or Pages screen by selecting Parse.ly Stats from Screen Options.

### Engagement Boost

As part of PCI’s AI-powered tool suite, [Engagement Boost](https://docs.wpvip.com/parse-ly/parsely-features/engagement-boost/)
is only available to WPVIP customers with a Parse.ly contract or WPVIP CMS customers
with Enhanced, Signature, or Premier packages. For these customers, Engagement Boost
is found under the Parse.ly sidebar menu in the WP Admin dashboard, as well as by
hovering over a post listed on the [Posts screen](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/posts-screen/).

## Stats and AI tools in the block editor

PCI can provide a curated set of insights on any post you’re writing or editing
from right within the WordPress block editor. Access PCI by clicking the Parse.ly
icon in the top right navigation of the block editor.

![Access PCI from the block editor.](https://docs.parse.ly/wp-content/uploads/sites/

Access PCI from the block editor.

This opens PCI in the block editor’s sidebar, including:

 * Generative AI tools (only available to [WordPress VIP CMS](https://www.parse.ly/wordpress-vip-parsely/)
   customers): [Title Suggestions](https://docs.wpvip.com/parse-ly/parsely-features/title-suggestions/),
   [Excerpt Suggestions](https://docs.wpvip.com/parse-ly/parsely-features/excerpt-suggestions/),
   and [Smart Linking](https://docs.wpvip.com/parse-ly/parsely-features/smart-linking/).
 * Further content insights: Related Posts. (See below for more detail.)
 * Performance Stats panel — available for published posts/pages. (See below for
   more detail.)

The Related Posts panel in the block editor’s sidebar provides a list of the site’s
top performing content most similar to the post or page you’re editing.

![](https://docs.parse.ly/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2025/07/Related-Posts.png)

Filter the related posts listed by [page views](https://docs.parse.ly/measuring-reporting-performance/calculations/page-views/)
or [average time](https://docs.parse.ly/measuring-reporting-performance/calculations/engaged-minutes/),
and set the time period from the last 10 minutes up to the last 30 days. Listed
posts can be further filtered by author, section, and tags.

Use Related Posts to:

 * Discover patterns that make posts successful — content structure, style, keywords,
   and other criteria.
 * Add helpful links to the content that’s being currently edited, increasing engagement
depth on the site and improving [recirculation rate](https://docs.parse.ly/measuring-reporting-performance/calculations/recirculation-rate/).
 * Identify top performers that merit a deeper review, such as a content refresh
   for [evergreen posts](https://blog.parse.ly/data-on-article-lifespans/), updates
to author names, addition of new tags, and more.

## Performance Stats panel

The Performance Stats panel in the block editor’s sidebar provides content insights
for the post or page you’re editing. The time period for these metrics can be adjusted
from the last 10 minutes up to the last 30 days. This panel displays data for published
content with at least 1 page view.

[average engaged time](https://docs.parse.ly/measuring-reporting-performance/calculations/engaged-minutes/),
and referrer data. From within this panel, the post or page being edited can be
opened in the [Parse.ly Dashboard](https://docs.parse.ly/dashboard/) for more detailed
analysis.
