# Scroll depth tracking

Parse.ly currently does not offer scroll depth tracking by default, as Parse.ly’s
[engaged minutes](https://docs.parse.ly/measuring-reporting-performance/calculations/engaged-minutes/)
metric is considered a better measure of engagement. However, [dynamic tracking](https://docs.parse.ly/dynamic-tracking/#h-sending-custom-data-with-events)
can be used to send Parse.ly scroll depth event data.

## Tracking engagement in the Parse.ly Dashboard

The [Parse.ly Dashboard](https://docs.parse.ly/dashboard/) cannot display scroll
depth data, but you can [filter Dashboard tabs](https://docs.parse.ly/dashboard/navigating/filter/)
and pages by metrics such as total engaged minutes and average engaged time.

## Parse.ly’s Data Pipeline

[Parse.ly’s Data Pipeline](https://docs.parse.ly/data-pipeline/) is a premium add-
on feature suitable for teams with experienced data scientists. This allows teams
to read the scroll depth data being sent to Parse.ly and use it in any way they
like.

**Note**

depth data? Contact your Relationship Manager for more information and to discuss
