# Author details

Clicking on an author’s name from any tab in the [Parse.ly Dashboard](https://docs.parse.ly/dashboard/)
takes you to that author’s details page, where data specific to that content creator
can be assessed.

The author details page.

The top of the author details page functions much like Dashboard tabs:

 1. Author name.
 2. [Pulse vs. Historical views](https://docs.parse.ly/dashboard/navigating/pulse-vs-historical/)
    of data.
 3. [Filtering capabilities](https://docs.parse.ly/dashboard/navigating/filter/).
 4. Factoids for the selected time frame: [page views](https://docs.parse.ly/measuring-reporting-performance/calculations/page-views/),
    [visitors](https://docs.parse.ly/measuring-reporting-performance/calculations/visitors/),
    [engaged minutes](https://docs.parse.ly/measuring-reporting-performance/calculations/engaged-minutes/),
    and new posts.

Below the graph on the author details page, there are tabs with more information.
