Technical Details
Parse.ly’s UI is available in English only. There is currently no internationalization and localization (translating our English-language dashboard strings to your local language). This also means Parse.ly does not formally support interface shifts for RTL languages, such as Arabic. However, very few English-language strings appear in the product. It displays your site’s data in an intuitive way.
User Guide
It’s great to have a lot of traffic from one channel, be that search or social. But it’s a good idea to keep as much balance in those channels as possible. Have a lot of traffic from social media, but few visits from search? Take a high-performing post and look for ways to make it more search-friendly, such as writing keyword-rich headlines. Similarly, if you’re seeing lower internal circulation, think about a way to better position the article on your site.

To search for a specific post, author, section, or tag in the Parse.ly dashboard, click the magnifying glass🔍 in the Dashboard top bar to open the search bar.

The Parse.ly Overlay bookmarklet layers real-time content analytics on top of your site. Once Overlay is activated, clicking the bookmarklet will open a panel with engagement metrics, traffic breakdowns, and referrers. Click on the title, author, section, or referrer to open a details page in the dashboard.

The Referrers page shows how people are finding your content. You can find this page by selecting it from the nav bar. Referrers are broken into five primary channels: Social, Search, Other, Internal, and Direct.

The Parse.ly Dashboard provides support for a bevy of metrics beyond the world’s most popular analytics metric, the venerable page view.
Dashboard
Tags are one of the best ways to track detailed information about your posts. To utilize tags effectively, we recommend that the author of the article inputs tags to reflect what the article is about. The tags that are applied are the keywords the author expects a reader to search for in order to find a post. To optimize the use of tags for reporting, it depends on what it is that you would like to track.
